How to process your first game

Step 1 of 6 · 2 min read

Processing turns your match video into players and moments: Jaxo follows every player and the ball, and finds the goals, shots and other moments for you to review. Here's how to process your first game. It takes a minute or two of your time.

Add the match

  1. On your team's Games page, press Add a match.
  2. Give the date and the opponent, then paste your Veo match link, or choose a video file from your phone or computer.
  3. Press Add the match. Jaxo downloads it for you: you can close the box while it works.

Set up the game

  1. The game opens on its setup. Pick how many a side, and the pitch size fills itself in.
  2. A Veo match needs no calibrating: press Next. Filmed on a phone? Then mark four or more points: pick a landmark on the little pitch, and click the same spot on the video.
  3. Shirt colors are optional: click a player from each team, or skip it. Jaxo sorts the teams by itself, and you check them after.

Process it

Press Process video, and tick the box to get an email when it's done. It runs online, so you don't have to wait: close the page and come back later.

What you get

Every player is followed on the video and on the map, with the moments Jaxo found ready to review. The Insights tab shows how the game went, and you can make a highlight reel for every player.
