How to make a coach reel and share it with your team
A coach reel is a few moments from a game with your drawing on them: the player to watch, the space to attack, the pass that was on. Draw it once, and the whole team learns from it.
Draw on the moment
- Open a game and go to the moment. Pause where you want to teach, and press Draw.
- Player marks a player: pick a style, like a pulse or a cone of light, and click them. The mark follows them once play carries on.
- Area shades the space to attack: click its corners.
- Line shows a run, or a pass that could be played (dashed). Text says it in words.
- Choose how long the video stops on your drawing, then press Save.
Make the reel
- Filter the moments, for example every goal by one player, and press Make a reel.
- It's made online in a minute or two, with your drawing in it: the video stops on it for as long as you chose, then the marks follow the players as play carries on.
Share it with your team
- The reel is in Coach reels. Press its share button.
- Pick some of the players, or all of them, and press Send.
- Each player's parent gets an email with the reel, one tap from watching it. It's in their Coach reels too, to watch together before the next session.
