Jaxo follows each player through the video with a trail. When the camera loses someone, their trail stops and a new one starts; when two teammates cross, their trails can swap. A few minutes of yours puts that right, so each player's minutes, distance, heatmap and highlights follow them through the whole game.
Open Join & split trails
Open Name, at the top of the game, then Join & split trails, under Fix. It lists the places to check, most important first: the trails that cover the most play, where Jaxo is least sure. Each one plays close up, with trail A ringed in yellow and trail B in blue.
Join? Same player or not
- A Join? asks whether B, a trail that starts just after A's stops, is the same player as A.
- Watch who A's ring is on when it stops, and whether B's ring starts on the same player. If it does, press Same player: join (J): the two become one trail, with A's name.
- If they're someone else, like a player from the other team, press Different players (D).
Swap? Two teammates who met
- A Swap? asks whether two teammates who came close came out the other way round.
- Watch the yellow ring as they part: is it still on the player it was on before? A shirt number helps. If so, press Right as they are (K).
- If the rings changed players, press Swapped: swap from here (W). Can't tell? Not sure: cut both here (C) leaves each piece to name.
A ring that jumps to someone else
Stop the video where the ring jumps, and press Cut A at the playhead (X) or Cut B at the playhead (V): the rest of that trail becomes a new one, for you to name. A trail that's really the referee's goes out of the teams with A is the referee or B is the referee.
Every answer is saved
Each answer is saved to the game as you go, and Undo (U) takes back the last one. Skip (S) leaves a question for later. The longest trails come first, so you don't need to check every one.
